BUILDING MECHANICAL AND HVAC NOISE CONTROL

We work closely with architects, mechanical engineers, etc., to ensure the overall acoustical environment in office buildings or other indoor spaces satisfy certain predetermined design criteria. Services include room configuration and layout design, selection of acoustical materials, design of the sound system (i.e., public address, warning alarms, voice announcements, masking systems, etc.), and HVAC mechanical system noise and vibration control. The most effective and economical use of consulting services in this form of acoustics occurs when they are applied during the design stage of a project. However, these services are often applied to completed buildings and spaces to achieve a desirable or acceptable environment through effective retrofit measures.
